Council Relatives (2003 March 11)
When the position of the Rosebud Sioux Tribes Courthouse Administrator came on the floor, the Council representatives were asked to vote on the termination of Antelopes Council woman Joanne Colombe Sister Carmen Hicks. Well this would also place Carmen as a Auntie of Wayne Boyd who is married to Joannes daughter in law. Wayne should of recuse himself, but in their true fashion was permitted to vote to again perpetuate a bad situation at the Court house.
Syndicated Families (2003 March)
There are many ongoing complaints concerning the way certain Council representatives are "feeding the flames" of corruption here on the reservation. It has been very obvious the way this IRA Howard Wheeler 1934 limited liabilities corporation is failing the Indian People especially here on the Rosebud reservation, currently home to the Sicangu Lakota Oyate.

IRA system is unable to articulate or demonstrate effective traditional values
The imposed system isn't working, things are unraveling and we all know it. Our most basic virtues of civility, responsibility, justice and integrity seem to be collapsing; appears to be losing the ethics derived from personal commitment, social purpose and spiritual meaning. Triumph of materialism is hardly questioned. BHPN editorial by Garvard Good Plume.

That piece of red, white and blue cloth stands for a system and a country that does not honor it's own word...If it stood for honor and truth, it would remember our treaties and give them the appropriate place under international law. But it doesn't. It dishonors its own word and violates its treaties...
